What we do
Vote Rev designs, field tests, and quickly mainstreams voter engagement innovations to help Democrats win. We designed the original vote-tripling tactics in the 2020 election cycle to help people spark their friends to vote at scale — and in the process of that, we also created a sustainable model for designing and scaling new tactics across the progressive movement.

Becoming Vote Rev
Vote Rev began with a question. We all can influence our social networks — but people who feel disengaged from politics have influence over friends that many traditional campaign tactics don’t reach. What would it take to spark those disengaged voters — “non-activists” — to mobilize their friends to vote at scale?
The first vote-tripling tactics were our answer to this question. When campaigns and allied organizations asked for help implementing our field-tested work, we hired organizing experts to make sure they had the support needed to integrate those tactics seamlessly into their field plans.
As we developed and refined the first vote-tripling tactics, and worked with partners to implement those tactics at scale, we came to realize that we had also created a sustainable model for designing and scaling voter engagement innovations across the progressive movement. Our name today, Vote Rev, captures the essence of what we do: we’re an engine for innovation powering a revolution in the way the progressive movement engages with voters.
As a growing nonprofit behavioral design team, Vote Rev continues to improve on the vote-tripling suite of tactics while designing new voter engagement innovations to help progressives win.
How we support your work
Our Partner Success Team helps campaigns and organizations withimplementing Vote Rev tactics (such as polling-place vote tripling) in line with research-informed, field-vetted best practices.
